Greetings
I'm a writer and certified book coach, with deep respect for each person's unique creative process, who loves working with middle-aged (or older) writers to bring their novels into the world.
After I left one career and was heading into a second, a tiny bit of the mysticism that runs through my mother’s family prompted me to tell my son, “I’m going to have three careers.”
At the time, I had no idea what the third career would be. Nor did I know that it would be a double one that brought me back to my earliest loves - books! They are the heart of my career as book coach and writer.
My educational background, multi-cultural upbringing, and eclectic interests inform my third career. Be prepared for posts about anything from archetypal psychology, writing, books, creativity, the winged and furred people who share the planet with us - to chaos theory, biology, mental health, and whatever catches my attention.
Something will always engage my interest because life-long learning is a way of life, encouraged by a very wise man (my father) who said, “A day without learning anything new is a day wasted.”
I hope to post once a week, and subscriptions will be free for the foresee-able future.
